This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies zofesto.com uses, what they're for and how you can decide about them. Read it together with our Privacy policy, which covers the data you send us through forms.

1. What cookies are

Small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits, such as your preferences or how you use its pages. This policy also covers similar technologies, like browser local storage and tracking pixels.

2. Types of cookies we use

• Necessary: keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. They don't require consent.
• Analytics: tell us, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages they see and how they arrive. Only active if you accept them.
• Marketing: measure campaigns and show relevant ads on other platforms. Only active if you accept them.

3. Cookies and tools on this site

• Cookie preference (first-party, necessary): stores whether you accepted or rejected each category, until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
• Content preview (Prismic, necessary): only for the Zofesto team when reviewing changes before publishing. Session only.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (third-party, analytics): visit statistics. Cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, up to 2 years.
• Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar (third-party, analytics): heatmaps and anonymous session recordings to improve the design. Cookies such as _clck, _clsk or _hj*, up to 1 year.
• Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and LinkedIn Insight (third-party, marketing): campaign conversions and audiences. Cookies such as _gcl_au, _fbp, _ttp or li_*, from 3 months to 2 years.

Not all of these tools are always active: analytics and marketing tools only load if we've set them up and you accept them. We'll update this list when we add a new one.

4. Consent

On your first visit, a notice lets you accept all cookies, reject the optional ones or choose by category. Until you decide, analytics and marketing stay off (we use Google Consent Mode with everything denied by default).

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your decision at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have a privacy section for this). To limit personalized ads elsewhere, review your Google and Meta ad settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

6. Data outside Colombia

Analytics and marketing providers may process information on servers outside Colombia, mainly in the United States and the European Union, under their own contractual and security safeguards.

7. Your rights and contact

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy because of legal changes, new tools or industry practices. The last update date is shown at the top of this page and, for significant changes, we'll ask for your choice again.
